This was a great place to eat during lunch. My coworkers and I went here to celebrate a birthday and everyone loved the meals they had. It was a little noisy in there with a full restaurant so we had to almost shout to hear each other, but that didn't bother me, just thought I'd point it out for those looking for a more quiet atmosphere. Our server lady was awesome!
I had their breakfast plate which was tasty! Their latte was good as well. The service was good and they were pretty quick too. Friendly staff. We went there around 10 AM on a Friday and there was plenty of parking spots. Overall, liked the place.
I was looking forward to a decent restaurant next to the hospital. The host said outdoor seating was available during lunchtime; however, it took a while before someone came to take my order. Mediocre is the best word to describe this place. I wanted a meal that would be quick and easy, so I ordered avocado toast. I would not describe this as a quick meal. As with the service, it took some time to get to me. I found the "smashed avocado" and pickled onion unfavorable. Being from the Deep South, where biscuits are served with almost every meal, I am always on the lookout for good biscuits. The first biscuit came out inedible. It was hard. I asked for another one, and although it looked better, it was inedible. It had a strong flavor of baking powder. Maybe the next time I am near the hospital, I will give them another chance.
The brunch is great and yummy and priced very reasonably. Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well. Will definitely be back for the live music in the future!
The cocktail was good. But the chicken was cooked to death. The fries were ok. A spacious outside patio was pleasant to sit on a warm winter day. They also have in house cheesecake and other backed goodies. I appreciate the consideration to girls needs in the bathroom.
Great food. The biscuits are angel soft. Their pasta salad will make you want more. The Southwestern Grain Bowl is a perfect blend of grains, greens, black beans, sweet potatoes and other goodies.
Good place to grab a meal while waiting on a loved one who is undergoing surgery across the street at Ascension Seton Austin. Drinks were on point (Shirley Temple w/extra cherries, It Takes Dos to Mango (+Spicy), Karbach beer). The White Bean Dip w/Sourdough and Chips & Salsa shareables were fresh and excellent. The Kids Burger was buried somewhere in the bun, but his french fries were crisp and closer to shoestring fries. The Oakmont Burger, ordered without lettuce but arrived with, was very good, especially the bun. The Texas Tomato Tartine instead came with Sourdough, which was definitely worth the change from Focaccia. So amazing, would definitely stop by again. Pricing was off a little bit as Happy Hour pricing wasn't applied even though it was between 4pm and Close. Our bad as well, as we just noticed as we're making this post. Very family friendly, but maybe a little short-staffed
The atmosphere was super cute, my waitress was so sweet and the food was amazing! I’m definitely coming here again.
Also I can’t just not talk about the beautiful presentation of my breakfast plate. They put it together so beautifully.
